PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE EGYPTIAN CUSTOMS SERVICE PASSENGER E—DECLARATION APPLICATION

The Egyptian Customs Service establishes this privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this policy") regarding the processing of information including users’ personal information (hereinafter referred to as "user information") of the Egyptian Customs Declaration, App provided by Sankei Cries Co., Ltd. on behalf of Egyptian Customs.

1. PROVIDER OF APP WHICH COLLECTS USER INFORMATION

Egyptian Customs
* Sankei Cries Co., Ltd., which provides the app on behalf of Egyptian Customs, does not collect any user information.

2. COLLECT AND USE USER INFORMATION

This application collects the following information’s as well as other additional information’s for the purposes of customs procedures for entry into Egypt.

• Passport number
• Passport issuing country
• Full Name
• Date of Birth
• Nationality
• Occupation
• Phone number
• Address (where you are staying in Egypt)
• Country of origin
• Type of residence visa in Egypt (tourist, convertible for long stay visa, ...)
• Duration of stay
• Purpose of trip (business, tourism, work, ...)
• Other information necessary for the customs procedure (eg flight number, boarding point)

User information and other information’s collected by the application will be provided to Egyptian Customs Services via an electronic declaration terminal deployed at airports allowing entry into the country.

If the user discloses personal information relating to other people within the framework of the application, the latter declares that he has the power to do so and authorizes the Customs Service to use the information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Egyptian Customs Services shall have the right to process and disclose aggregated information in accordance with applicable law.

3. PROVIDE USER INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTY.

The Egyptian Customs Service may use the user's information, if necessary, provided via the electronic declaration terminal of the Egyptian Customs, to the extent authorized by the law on the protection of personal information in Egypt, and any other law applicable for:

a) comply with applicable law, including Egyptian law and any other laws outside your country of residence, as applicable;

b) respond to requests from other government authorities, including public and governmental authorities of Egypt and those of other countries.

c) protect customs operations;

d) protect your rights, property and/or safety, as well as those of a third party.

e) to allow the Customs Services to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we will sustain.

4. DISCLOSURE, UPDATE, ADD OR DELETE USER INFORMATION

User information and other data collected through this application may be updated and/or deleted.

For the disclosure, update, add or delete of user information, and others, submitted to the Customs Services via the electronic declaration terminal of the Egyptian Customs Services, please inquire with the points of contact for disclosure information and personal information.

5. NOTICE AND PUBLICATION OF PRIVACY POLICY

Customs will provide notice and post of this privacy policy on the Customs website.

6. REVIEW

Customs reserves the right to modify this policy at its discretion. However, if there is any change in the user information to be collected, the purpose of use, or providing to third parties, Customs will post the reviewed policy on its website via the link https://www.customs.gov.eg/
